A passenger on an IndiGo plane hit the aircraft pilot over delay in flight. A video of the incident surfaced online.
New Delhi: In a recent incident, a passenger on an IndiGo plane hit the aircraft pilot over delay in flight. A video of the incident surfaced online and has been doing rounds on all social media platforms since then.
Reliable reports tell us that the incident took place on an IndiGo plane bound from Delhi to Goa. The flight reportedly got delayed by several hours due to heavy fog. While the initial time for take-off was scheduled at 7:30 am, the plane ultimately was rescheduled for flight at 2:30 pm.
The passenger who hit the IndiGo pilot has been identified as Sahil Kataraia. Immediately after the incident, the man was removed from the passenger list and handed over to the authorities. Reportedly, the airline has filed a complaint against the passenger and is likely to file an official case.

Netizens were left enraged at the incident. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “What does the pilot or cabin crew have to do with the delay? They were just doing their job. Arrest this man, and put him on the no-fly list. Publish his picture so people are aware of his bad temper in public.” “This guy should be right away booked for assault and sent to prison for a very long vacation.
