ED summons Arvind Kejriwal for fourth time in Delhi excise policy case

The ED has issued fresh summon for the fourth time to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for questioning

New-Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summon for the fourth time to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in connection with the alleged excise policy scam case.

Earlier, he had skipped two summons of the ED first on November 2 and second one on December 21 – in connection with the alleged excise policy money laundering case.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that BJP wants him arrested, so that he can’t take part in campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls.

“My biggest asset is my honesty. These people (BJP) want to malign my image by making false allegations and sending false summons,” he claimed.

He said that BJP have kept many Aam Aadmi Party leaders in jail in such fake cases and there is no evidence against anyone.

Kejriwal said that Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Vijay Nair are in jail not because they have committed any corruption but because they refused to join BJP.
