Timetable for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams 2024 released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the timetable for class 10 and 12 board exams for the year 2024.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the timetable for class 10 and 12 board exams for the year 2024 at its official website. The examination is scheduled to start from February 15, 2024 and will end on April 2, 2024.

Announcing about the board exams, the Examination Controller Sanyam Bharadwaj said, “CBSE class 10 board exams will be conducted from February 15 and will end on March 13. Meanwhile, board exams for Class 12 will begin from February 15 and will end on April 2, 2024.”

On the first day of the examination, the tests will be held in two sessions, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 10:30 pm to 2:30 pm. On the other days, it will be held different sessions ranging from one to four.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education in India announced that board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be held twice a year. This rule will be implemented starting from the academic year 2024-25. The rule aims at reducing exam stress and offering students more flexibility and the opportunity to improve their scores. At the same time, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan assured that appearing for Class 10 and 12 board exams twice a year will not be mandatory for students.
