‘Notebook’ Trailer: A Romantic Tale Featuring Debutants Zaheer Iqbal & Pranutan Bahl

Mumbai: The trailer of the film ‘Notebook’ is finally out now. Set in Kashmir, the film marks the debut of young talents Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl. From the trailer, the film appears to be a heartwarming tale about love, affection, and longing in the beautiful backdrops of the Kashmir valley.

The trailer showcases Firdaus (Pranutan Bahl), a teacher at a small school in Kashmir who teaches seven sweet little kids but has to make a difficult choice between them and getting married. However, she chooses marriage- leaving the kids behind. It is now that Kabir (Zaheer Iqbal) arrives at the school as her replacement. As he bonds with the young kids, he also finds an old notebook, left behind by the Pranutan. Through the notebook, he learns a lot about her and falls in love with her.

The film looks fresh and both Zaheer and Pranutan appear confident in their parts. ‘Notebook’ also features a reprised version of the popular Kashmiri folk song ‘Bumbroo Bumbroo’.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Salman Khan, ‘Notebook’ has been shot extensively at picturesque locations in Kashmir like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Srinagar.

‘Notebook’ marks the debut of Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. While Pranutan is the granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan and daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl, Zaheer Iqbal is the son of Salman Khan’s childhood friend Iqbal.

‘Notebook’ is slated for theatrical release on March 29, 2019.
