Is the admin watching this? No one responded. You have potentially given a wrong or ambiguous info. And not answering queries.

I can confirm that I completed this task with just finger print and NO Iris scan was required.

From Jeevan Pramman WebSite, it seems like either a finger print *OR* Iris scan authentication is needed — NOT both.

In the your article, you have written “fingerprint *AND* iris”. This would mean that both needs to be done, which is incorrect.

After doing the online Jeevan pramaan from a centre, my pension got stopped. I paid Rs 200 for the certificate.

Later bank told me that the guy has submitted your certificate for the last financial year! Again I had to go back to the bank with paper document.

    It’s a waste.

I know Fingerprint needs one external devise which will cost like in thousands. (I used Mantra which was 2500 a couple of years back)

But, seems like there is a new option of using Face recognition authentication.

I am not sure if this process works but you an try this. You just need a Android phone and necessary apps installed.

If you are able to complete this, do come back and update in this site so that others can know.

This post is good but incomplete. There is NO need to buy Expensive Biometric devices anymore. Govt has introduced FaceApp recognition option which can be done via smartphone. Go to the FAQs page in the Jeevan Pramaan website.
