IOCL recruitment 2021: Apply online for the post of 469 apprentice posts

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the largest commercial enterprise in India has invited online applications for the recruitment of 469 apprentices for technical and non-technical trades. These apprentices will work in 5 different locations which include Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL).

On-line applications for the 469 apprentices can be applied by anyone who has eligible qualifications and is of Indian Nationality.

As per the notification, candidates can apply for IOCL Recruitment 2021 up to 25 October 2021 on the official website.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021 details

Important Dates:

  • Beginning of online application: October 5, 2021
  • Last Date of online application: October 25, 2021
  • Written Exam Date: November 21, 2021
  • Downloading Admit Card Date (Tentative): November 5-11, 2021

Type of Posts and qualifications

Mechanical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:

i) Mechanical Engineering

ii) Automobile Engineering

Electrical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:

i) Electrical Engineering

ii) Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Telecommunication & Instrumentation: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institute:

i) Electronics & Communication Engineering

ii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

iii) Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering

iv) Instrumentation & Control Engineering

v) Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering

vi) Electronics Engineering

Assistant-Human Resource: Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) from a Govt. recognized institute/ University

Accountant: Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a Govt. recognized institute/University

Data Entry Operator: Minimum 12th pass (but below graduate)

Domestic Data Entry Operator: Minimum 12th pass (but below Graduate)

Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognised under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognised by the Central Govt.

Pay Scale:

Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines

Age Limit and Qualification:

Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.10.2021 which is the date for reckoning any eligibility criteria.

Duration of Apprentice training:

Technician Apprentice (Elec/Mech/T&I): One Year

Trade Apprentices (Assistant HR/Accountant): One Year

Data Entry Operator and Domestic Data Entry Operator: 15 months
