CBSE Class 10th Result-2018 declared; Check scores on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the class 10 results this afternoon with 86.70 pass percentage. Anil Swarup, Secretary, HRD Ministry, took to his twitter handle and informed about the announcement of the results. Earlier, yesterday he had said that the results will be declared at 4 PM.
Prakhar Mittal from Gurugram, Rimzhim Agrawal from Bijnor, Nandni Garg from Shamli and Sreelakshmi G from Cochin, all scored 499 marks out of 500 to top the class 10th Examination.
As many 27476 students have scored equal to or more than 95% marks while 131493 students have scored equal to or more than 90% marks.
The top three regions are Thiruvananthapuram with 99.60 pass percentage, Chennai with 97.37 pass percentage, and Ajmer with 91.86 pass percentage.
The candidates can also check their result through the following means:
– IVR: Candidates can check their results through an IVR system which will allow you to access your results via a call which is charged at 30 paise per minute for every roll number.
– SMS: Charged at 50 paise per SMS, students can also get their result through telephone number- 011 – 24300699 or by sending SMS on mobile number- 7738299899.
– DigiLocker: This is a service that saves your CBSE Board Results 2018 and mark sheets in your locker and students can access the results with the account details that are sent to the student via SMS.
About 16,38,428 students across the country had appeared for CBSE Class X examination this year at 4453 centres.
The annual board examination was conducted successfully from March 5- April 4.
