Odisha Girl’s painting of PM Modi grabs his attention at Chandikhol rally

Jajpur: PM Modi’s sweet gesture of paying attention to people’s small effort to convey their respect for him has once again been admired. A girl was standing for long at the public rally at Chandikhol of Jajpur district in Odisha on Tuesday holding an oil paint of the PM. After noticing it, the PM took a halt in his speech and asked the security personnel to collect the paining from the girl.

Yesterday there was huge crowd gathered at the Chandikhol rally where PM Modi laid foundation for projects worth Rs 19,000 crores. Followng this program when he was addressing the gathering he observed that a girl was holding an oil painting in which the PM’s photo had been drawn. She was standing for long as she wanted to present it to the PM. However, despite presence of such a large number of people there, the PM observed it and asked the Special Protection Group (SPG) to collect the painting from her.

The PM asked the girl to write her name and address on the back side of the painting and promised to writer letter to her. He said, “…main chitthi likhunga….”

Reportedly, the girl was Namita Behera from Agarpada area of Bhadrak district who had sketched the oil painting of the PM and was standing there to present it to him.

It is to be noted that earlier, Namita was in discussion for drawing oil painting of President Murmu, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and 5T and Nua-O chairman VK Pandian.

Reportedly, few days back while PM Modi was addressing the gathering in Kolkata a little girl was standing with a painting of Lord jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. As she wanted to present it to the PM, he asked security personnel to collect it from the girl, and on the stage only he thanked the girl.
