Will Smith in full praise of ‘Gully Boy’ Ranveer Singh

New Delhi: Hollywood superstar Will Smith was full of praises of the ‘Gully Boy’ Ranveer Singh. Smith shared a special video message for the actor and said he ‘loving it.’

On his Instagram stories, Will Smith shared two brief videos for Ranveer with a few stills from the song Apna Time Aayega. “Yo, Ranveer! Congrats, man. I’m loving what you’re doing with Gully Boy. For me, old school hip-hop here scene… hip-hop all over the world, like that I’m loving it man. Congrats. Go get them,” the 50-year-old actor says in the video, which has also been curated by several of Ranveer’s fan clubs.

Ranveer’s fan clubs then further shared them as posts. Here is the video:

Ranveer’s ‘Gully Boy’ co-star Alia Bhatt and director Zoya Akhtar shared Will’s post on their respective Instagram stories. “I love Will Smith,” wrote Zoya.

Notably, Will Smith has starred in many super hit movies such as The Pursuit of Happyness, Suicide Squad, Hitch, Men In Black series, Bad Boys series, etc.

‘Gully Boy’ released on Thursday and has got a huge response at the box office. In the first day itself, the film collected over 19 crores. The movie was premiered at Berlin Film Festival and was loved by viewers there.

The movie tracks the story of Murad (Ranveer) a struggling street rapper. Alia plays Safeena, a medical student and love interest of Murad. The entire cast of ‘Gully Boy’ is receiving great commendations from film lovers and critics alike. The movie is loosely based on real-life street rappers Divine and Naezy, who have also contributed to the movie musically.
