Mumbai: After releasing a teaser, Dharma Productions unveiled the trailer for the highly-anticipated film ‘Kalank’ on Wednesday. The film is a period drama and stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles.

Set in pre-independent India, ‘Kalank’ is a story about an elite family and many of its hidden truths that begin to unfold as communal tensions rise and partition nears. Caught in this situation are Dev, Satya, Roop, and Zafar who find themselves in this battlefield of love.
The film also features cameos by Kunal Khemmu, Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani. Directed by Abhishek Varman of ‘2 States’ fame, ‘Kalank’ is slated for a theatrical release on April 17, 2019.
