Viral Video: When Anu Malik Slaps Himself After Hearing Neha Kakkar Sing At Indian Idol Audition

Neha Kakkar is one of the finest and most loved singers in the film industry. But, before she became famous and went on to become one of the judges in Indian Idol, Neha Kakkar was also a contestant on the show.

She had participated in Indian Idol Season 2 as a contestant. But, she wasn’t liked very much by the judges including her co-judge Anu Malik and was eliminated early.

Meanwhile, a throwback video of Neha Kakkar’s audition in the music reality show has surfaced once again on social media in which Anu Malik was seen slapping himself in disappointment after watching the audition of Neha Kakkar.

In the audition video, Neha Kakkar was seen singing ‘Aisa Lagta Hai’ from Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Refugee.

However, the judges Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam and choreographer Farah Khan weren’t impressed with her performance. Anu Malik was so upset that he even slapped himself after Neha’s performance.

In the viral clip, Anu Malik can be heard saying, “Neha Kakkar… Teri awaaz sun kar lagta hai main apne mooh par maaroon thappad, yaar! Kya ho gaya hai tere ko (I feel like slapping myself after hearing you sing. What happened to you)?”.

Now, the old video of Anu Malik and Neha Kakkar has gone viral on social media platforms.

Today, with back to back hits like ‘Second Hand Jaawani’, ‘Kaala Chashma’, Dilbar, Aankh Marey, Mahi Ve, Oh Humsafar and O Saki Saki, Neha Kakkar is one of the highest-paid singers. She is also judging the current Indian Idol season 12 alongside Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya.

On personal front, Neha tied the knot with singer Rohanpreet Singh. The adorable duo is giving couple goals with their romance on social media.
