Renowned Indian film producer Rajkumar Kohli, passed away at the age of 93. Reliable reports confirm the reason behind his death as cardiac arrest. He was a veteran figure in the industry, widely known for his contributions to the Indian industry.
He had gone for a shower and did not come out for a long time. It was then that his son Armaan Kohli broke into the washroom, only to find him collapsed on the floor. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and declared dead upon arrival, said reliable reports in this regard.
The news of his demise brings a wave of loss to the film fraternity and also his fans. Rajkumar Kohli is known for making films like ‘Naagin,’ ‘Jaani Dushman.’ ‘Pati Patni aur Tawaif,’ among several others.
Kohli’s journey in the industry of Indian Cinema spanned over several decades, during which he produced numerous memorable movies. He had been associated with films from the year 1963. His first film as a producer was ‘Sapni,’ which featured Prem Chopra in the lead role.
His last film as a producer was the well-known Bollywood film ‘Jaani Dushman.’ The film included faces of Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty as well.
Rajkumar Kohli also had an important role in launching his son Armaan Kohli in Bollywood. Armaan was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.’
