The Cholas are coming: Mani Ratnam’s PS-1 teaser out
The first part of filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s epic drama, based on the novel ‘Ponniyan Selvan,’ titled PS-1 is all set to hit the theatres on September 30, 2022. The movie revolves around a legend about the Chola kings.
On Saturday, the makers dropped a teaser of the flick and its visuals are evidence of its grand and rich content.
The epic drama stars Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Prakash Raj. Reportedly, it will simultaneously release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.
The tracks for this extravaganza are composed by the music maestro A.R. Rahman. The Mani Ratnam directorial is produced by Lyca Productions in association with Madras Talkies.
The teaser of the film proclaims, “The Cholas are coming.”
