Shah Rukh Khan Starrer and director Atlee’s latest film, ‘Jawan,’ has smashed records and entered the Rs 1000 crore club at the global box office. This remarkable feat was achieved on September 25, marking a significant triumph for the movie.
With this, ‘Jawan’ has not only garnered massive global success but has also outperformed the box office collections of ‘Pathaan’ in India. Even after 19 days of getting released, the film shows no signs of slowing down at the box office.
‘Jawan’ had a grand debut in theatres on September 7, creating immense excitement among fans. The return of King Khan to the big screen after ‘Pathaan’ drew large crowds to theatres for the first day first show. Fans were seen dancing to SRK’s iconic songs and also celebrated with fireworks.
‘Jawan’ has kept the box office ablaze with its collections since the day of release. The first day saw a collection of Rs 129.06 globally, making it the highest ever for a Hindi film. From what the latest buzz says, on day 19, ‘Jawan’ collected Rs 5.30 crore in India, taking its domestic box office collection to Rs 566.08 crore. With this, the SRK starrer surpassed Pathaan’s lifetime net earnings of Rs 543 crore.

On the global stage, ‘Jawan’ has crossed the Rd 1000 crore milestone, accumulating a total of Rs 1004.92 crores in just 19 days. Red Chillies Entertainment, the film’s production company, shares this momentous news with fans via a post on Instagram.
Helmed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ was released on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The highly energetic film also features a star studded cast, including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, and a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. ‘Jawan’ is the story of a father-son duo while addressing various social and political issues.
Apart from the leads, the film also features ‘Jawan’ also features Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chhabra. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt also has a cameo in the film.
