Indian Idol season 14 all set to return to TV screens, details here

Excitement continues to brew as Indian Idol season 14 is all set to hit the television screens with a fresh batch of voices and some exciting changes. The previous season of the show saw Rishi Singh from Ayodhya bagging the winning trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 25 lakhs.

It is to be noted that Aditya Narayan will not be seen hosting Indian Idol season 14. Instead, well-known figure Hussain Kuwajerawala will be seen making a comeback to the show after eight years. Hussain has hosted some of the previous seasons of the show.

The judges’ panel will also be seeing a change this time. Legendary singer Kumar Sanu, and the melodious Shreya Ghoshal will be seen judging the show along with Vishal Dadlani. Vishal was one of the judges of Indian Idol 13 as well.

The premiere date of the fourteenth season of the show is yet to be officially announced. The window for applying for the showed opened up for aspiring contestants on July 8. The last date for applying for the show has been set as August 27.

In order to sign up, aspiring contestants need to visit the official Sony LIV app and submit the application along with their recent picture and a singing video. The eligibility criteria for Indian Idol season 14 are simple. Participants should be a citizen of India aged between 18-35 years of age. The candidates should possess essential documents like Aadhar Card, Voter IF, Pan Card, Birth Certificate, and Address Proof.

The national wide auditions for the show began on August 11 in Guwahati and will end on August 27 in Mumbai.
