Indian Idol 12 fame Anjali Gaikwad gets accused of scamming people, singer reacts

Indian Idol 12 fame Anjali Gaikwad has recently made it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The singer has been accused of scamming people. A Twitter user who goes by the handle ‘Harami Parindey’ has alleged that Anjali was trying to hack into his account and dupe him.

Anjali has responded to the blame and said that her account has been hacked and she has also lodged a complaint about the issue with the cybercrime department. She also said that the person who has hacked her account has demanded a huge ransom.

Reportedly, Anjali’s Instagram account has been hacked since the last 20-21 days. Speaking to Hindustan Times the singer said that she doesn’t know how the person hacked her account but he called her and and asked for a ransom of ₹70,000. A few days later, she reported the issue to cybercrime department, but there has been no update yet.

The hacker has also tried to dupe several people, and she is receiving a lot of messages from the victims. “I’m clearing it with everyone individually,” Anjali added.

The teenage singer also said that the legal team has been helping her delete the account. Meanwhile, the incident has left her parents tensed. Furthermore, Anjali intends to return to the social media platform after the issue is resolved.

Anjali Gaikwad rose to fame after she became a part of the singing reality TV show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs 2017. She won the season and shared the trophy with co-contestant Shreyan Bhattacharya. Later, she participated in the singing reality show Indian Idol 12. Although she was eliminated from the season after many episodes, she managed to impress the judges and win hearts of those watching the show at home.
