Indian Idol 12 fame Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal have often made it to the headlines regarding rumours surrounding their relationship each other. Although the two has never talked about it in public, fans speculate that they both have been together ever since their appearance on the show. They also wish the rumour to be true and that the couple should make it official.
Time and again, when the singers have been questioned about their relationship status, they always shut off the rumours by saying that they are just good friends. Fans aren’t able to believe them as they love the chemistry between their favourite singing duo.
Meanwhile, Pawandeep has finally opened up about his relationship status with Arunita Kanjilal. Recently, while talking to TOI, the Indian Idol 12 winner said that Arunita is very young and has a lot to learn in life before they both could think of being in a relationship. Adding to his statement the singer said that he is in a relationship with his music and just wants to focus on his career and nothing else.
According to Pawandeep, the two are just close friends. He also trashed the rumours of him gifting a car to Arunita.
Pawandeep and Arunita will soon be seen as captains in Superstar Singer 2. Talking about it his excitement of being on the show, Pawandeep said, “I am really excited to be starting this new chapter of my life as captain with Superstar Singer 2 and grooming some of the fabulous young stars that country has ever seen or heard. I am really thrilled to be able to mentor as well as learn from these youngsters. This journey is definitely going to be a lot of fun and enriching with all my co-captains. While friendly rivalry will always exist among us, we are aware of our capabilities as singers and plan to share our learnings and knowledge with the contestants on the show.”
