The actor is best known for his supporting roles in films like “Michael Clayton” and “In the Bedroom.” The British actor is well known for his roles in comedy, drama, and action films.

Notably, Tom Wilkinson won an award for this role in the UK comedy and musical “The Full Monty.” Very frequently, he was chosen to play roles of American political personalities.

With a career span of about 50 years, Wilkinson holds a total of 130 film and television credits. He holds a BAFTA award, an Emmy, and a Golden Globe award to his name. He has also been nominated for Oscar, twice.

His most recent role on screen was in a Dinsey+ series. Therein, he was reunited with his former co-stars Robert Carlyle and Mark Add.

Tom Wilkinson was born in the year 1948 in Yorkshire, England. He spent majority of his childhood days in Canada. In the 1970s, he attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 1988, he got married to actress Diana 1988. The couple became parents to two daughters.
