‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry’s Medical reports out; Check details about his death

Friends actor Matthew Perry's medical reports suggest that he passed away due to accidental ketamine overdose.

Friends actor Matthew Perry died due to accidental ketamine overdose, confirmed US medical examiners, following the investigation into his death. Perry was found unconscious in a swimming pool at his residence in Los Angeles in October.

Reportedly, the actor was struggling with addiction to drugs, including ketamine and related serious health issues for decades.

In the statement related to cause of Perry’s death, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office revealed, “Matthew Perry’s cause of death is determined to be from the acute effects of Ketamine.”

“Contributory factors in his death include drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects. The manner of death is accident,” the statement further revealed.

Matthew Perry, who was best known for playing Chandler Bing on ‘Friends’, was found dead at a Los Angeles-area home on October 29. He starred as Chazz Russell in Boys Will Be Boys from 1987 to 1988 and also had roles in shows including Growing Pains.

He was best known for his portrayal of the wise-cracking Chandler Bing on NBC’s wildly popular “Friends,” which ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.
