Now for the first time, Boney Kapoor has opened up about wife Sridevi’s death. In a recent interview, Boney Kapoor disclosed some unknown details about Sridevi’s life and her struggles. Kapoor revealed that Sridevi used to undergo strict crash diet. He also revealed that she used to starve herself in order to maintain her on-screen appearance.
Boney Kapoor further revealed that from the time they were married, she had blackouts on a couple of occasions, and the doctor kept on saying that she had low BP issue.
Opening up about wife Sridevi’s death, Boney Kapoor recalled the intense interrogation he had to undergo for the first two days. He said that he had firmly decided to never speak about that time because he had spoken about her demise for almost 48 hours together during investigation.
He also recalled the officers telling him that they had to go through this because of the pressure from the Indian media. However, in the end they realised that there was no foul play.
Furthermore, Kapoor also revealed that actor Nagarjuna had visited their home to offer condolences and also mentioned a previous incident where Sridevi had fainted due to strict crash dieting. Sridevi had fainted in the bathroom and had broken her teeth.
Sridevi’s unnatural and untimely demise on February 28, 2018, left a void in the entertainment industry which can never be filled.
