Allu Arjun cries, hugs Pushpa’s director Sukumar after he wins National award for best actor

The popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun, achieved a historic milestone by winning the prestigious National Award for Best Actor. He secured this honour for his outstanding performance in the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ as announced during the 69th National Film Awards.

In a heartwarming video that’s now going viral on social media, Allu Arjun can be seen shedding tears of joy upon hearing the news. His family and the film’s director, Sukumar, joined in the celebration, filling the room with applause and happiness. Allu Arjun’s father, the renowned producer Allu Aravind, embraced his son, visibly moved by the moment. His wife, Sneha, also shared in the excitement. The ‘Pushpa’ star also greeted his fans who were gathered outside his house to congratulate him.

Additionally, the talented composer Devi Sri Prasad received the National Film Award for Best Music Director (Songs) for his remarkable work on the ‘Pushpa’ soundtrack.

‘Pushpa: The Rise’ captivated audiences across India when it was released in December 2021. Fans eagerly await the sequel, ‘Pushpa: The Rule,’ currently in production and expected to hit screens in 2024.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated Allu Arjun for winning the maiden national award for best actor. He also congratulated Devi Sri Prasad on winning the national award for best music for ‘Pushpa’.

In his reply, Allu Arjun thanked Jagan Mohan Reddy for his congratulations.
