The actor spent quality time with the Jawans of the Indian Army as a part of his festive celebrations, showcasing his deep respect and admiration for the brave soldiers who serve on the frontline throughout the year.
A video capturing the special Diwali visit has gone viral on social media, featuring Akshay Kumar being mobbed by excited Jawans eager to take selfies with the Bollywood icon. The enthusiastic interaction reflects the genuine camaraderie and mutual admiration shared between the actor and the soldiers.
Expressing his excitement during the visit, Akshay Kumar shared, “I am very excited to be here. My father was a soldier in the army, so my heart since childhood is connected to the army. Seeing the uniform makes me proud, and I am honoured to be here.”
During the visit, Akshay actively engaged with the military personnel, observing various military techniques, including the water plume technique, different Improvised Explosive Device (IED) methods, and activities performed by combat engineers such as building bridges, constructing helipads, and conducting demolitions. The actor’s enthusiasm and keen interest in understanding the challenges faced by the army were evident as he posed questions and gained valuable insights.
On the film front, Akshay Kumar has a packed schedule with multiple projects in the pipeline. Among them, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” where he will share screen space with Tiger Shroff, is set to release on Eid 2024.
