JioCinema has signed an exclusive deal with Japan’s Pokemon Company in order to stream its content on its platform. Those persons who are interested in watching Pokemon shows and movies can now what it on the platform. JioCinema will add a new season of the popular anime series on the platform every Thursday.
JioCinema will offer the anime series in five different languages and that too for free. As JioCinema is the exclusive streaming partner of the Pokemon content in India, it will have an edge over other OTT platforms. For those who are unknown, Pokemon is one of the popular anime around the world.
The initial 12 seasons of Pokemon are already available on the platform for free. Users do not subscribe to watch those. However, there are a lot of popular content in the ‘Premium’ subscription tier. Users can watch HBO, Max Original, and Warner Bros content on JioCinema.
The Recent edition of IPL was also streamed on JioCinema. This has significantly boosted the subscriber base of the platform. The only concern as of now is the conversion of regular users to premium subscribers.
