Gold Price remains same for 24 and 22 carat on first day of the year 2024

Bhubaneswar: The price of gold in India has remained unchanged on the first day of the year. On January 1, 2024, 24 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 63,870 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 58,550.

Coming to Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar, the prices of gold have remained constant as well in the last 24 hours. While 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,870, 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 58,550.

Further, changes in rates of gold were also recorded in major cities across India. They are as follows:

• Delhi: While 24 carat gold has been priced at Rs 63,970, 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,700.
• Kolkata: 24 carat gold costs Rs 63,870, while 22 carat gold has been priced at Rs 58,550.
• Mumbai: 24 carat gold costs Rs 63,870, and 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,550.
• Chennai: 24 carat gold has been priced at Rs 64,470, while 22 carat gold has been priced at Rs 59,100

Silver rates in India: On January 1, 2024, silver has been priced at Rs 78,600 per kilogram.
