Gold price in India hikes for 2nd consecutive day for 24, 22 carat on December 28

On December 28, 2023, 24 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 63,220 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 57,910 in India.

Bhubaneswar: The price of gold in India has increased for the second consecutive day in the last 24 hours. On December 28, 2023, 24 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 63,220 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 57,910. The price of gold in India has increased by Rs 160 for both 24 carat and 22 carat gold.

Coming to Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar, the prices of gold have increased in the last 24 hours. While 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,820, 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 58,500. The price of gold in Bhubaneswar has increased by Rs 110 on December 28.

Further, changes in rates of gold were also recorded in major cities across India. They are as follows:

  • Delhi: While 24 carat gold has been priced at Rs 63,830, 24 carat gold costs Rs 58,650.
  • Kolkata: 24 carat gold costs Rs 63,830, while 22 carat gold has been priced at Rs 58,500.
  • Mumbai: 24 carat gold costs Rs 63,830, and 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,500.
  • Chennai: 24 carat gold has been priced at Rs 52,285, while 22 carat gold has been priced at Rs 47,927

Silver rates in India: On December 28, 2023, silver has been priced at Rs 74,100 per kilogram. The rates of silver has dropped by Rs 900 in the last 24 hours.
