Yamaha launches Yamaha Neo electric scooter, offers a removable battery and other attractive features

Yamaha has launched it new electric scooter Neo in the European market and it is expected that the Yamaha Neo electric scooter will launch in India soon. The scooter has an attractive design along with removable battery feature which makes it convenient for charging. According to reports, it is expected that the Yamaha electric scooter might launch in India in April 2022.

The Yamaha Neo electric scooter is powered by a DC motor which can generate a power of 2.03kW in standard mode. On the other hand, Eco Mode on the Yamaha Neo generates a power of 1.53kW. The maximum speed of the electric scooter is 40Km/hr on standard mode. Meanwhile, the eco mode offers a maximum speed of 35 km/hr.

The major convenience on the scooter is that it has a removable battery feature as well as a dual battery setup. The battery of electric scooter is 50.4V Lithium Ion. Full charge on the battery takes up to 8 hours at your home. However, users can use two batteries for an additional range. Users get a range of 37.5 km on a single battery (fully charged). However, if they use two batteries a range of 70 kilometers can be expected. The under seat storage that users get is 27 litres. However, if you are using two batteries, you might get a reduced storage space under the seat.

Some of the important features that are available on the Yamaha Neo electric scooter are smart key and LCD instrument cluster. A smartphone can be used to pair both of them. Some of the important features that can be seen on the instrument cluster are battery status, route tracking, calls and messages alert etc. The e-scooter gets 13 inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs and a ground clearance of 135mm. The total weight of the scooter is just 90kg.

In terms of price, the Neo Electric Scooter costs just EUR 3005 (Rs 2.5 lakh). However, if the scooter launches in India we expect that the scooter to cost less.

Kuch jyada nahi hogaya… Mana yamaha hai but market me isse accha mil rha hai vehichle.. range bhi , power bhi, price bhi.. to isko lene ka koi matlab hi nahi hai .. india me full flop hogi.. single unit nahi bikega . Or jo bikega bhi to wo reveiw dene wale hi kharidenge.. jinko bas review dena hai.. matlab bhaang maarke ye ganja phook ke kaam karte hai yamaha me.. kya chahte hai bhai
