Simple Energy’s budget-friendly Dot One electric scooter launched; Check price and other details

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing company, Simple Energy has introduced a budget-friendly version of its maiden electric scooter, the ‘One’. Named as ‘Dot One,’ the EV has been launched at a price of Rs 1 lakh.

The price, Rs 1 lakh, will only be applicable to existing customers who had pre-booked the EV. At the same time, Simple Energy will be offering the customers an option to switch and purchase the newly-launched models. The price of the EV will change from January, 2024.

While the EV’s price is lower but the features and designs remain same to other models. The EV will be offered in single variant. The vehicle houses a 3.7 kWh battery pack that comes with a certified range of 151 km.

Dot One include 12-inch wheels on both ends wrapped in tubeless tyres. The vehicle can achieve 40 kmph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds. It also has an expansive 35-litre under-seat storage. The EV is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen instrument cluster, Android OS with turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, battery and range info-graphics, calls alerts and OTS updates.

Dot One is available in four colors including Namma Red, Grace White, Brazen Black, and Azure Blue.
