Renault launches the most affordable automatic car in India; Costs less then Alto K10

The new Kwid AMT (automatic transmission) is now even cheaper than the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.

Renault has recently introduced the 2024 version of the Kwid hatchback along with Triber and Kiger in India. All the three models get an update in terms of features and also receive price revision. The most promising thing done by the company is that it now offers the cheapest automatic hatchback in India. The new Kwid AMT (automatic transmission) is now even cheaper than the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.

While the ex-showroom price of Alto K10 AMT is Rs 5.61 lakh, the Kwid AMT is priced at Rs 5.44 lakh. The starting price of the Renault Kwid is Rs 4.69 lakh. The car manufacturer has added three colour tones (dual-tone) and the feature list has been also revised.

When it comes to updates, the Kwid 2024 model gets RXL (O) gets 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Furthermore, the AMT variant of RXL (O) is the most affordable automatic hatchback available in the country. Speaking about the safety features, the Kwid gets more than 14 safety features as a standard. All variants get a rear seatbelt reminder as a standard across all variants. The affordability factor of this new variant is something that many young drivers will find appealing. For those who are opting for their first car, the AMT variant will make more sense.

Speaking about the engine, it remains same for the Kwid. The automatic variant of the car gets a 999cc, NA three-cylinder engine. It produces 68Bhp of maximum power and 91Nm of peak torque.
