Hyundai might be introducing a new N Line model in India this year
Hyundai is planning to extend its N-Line portfolio in India and the new model might be the Creta N-Line.
Hyundai has launched two N-Line models in India in last few years. The N-Line models were introduced in the i20 hatchback and the Venue. While i20 got its N-Line variant in 2021, the Venue N-Line was launched in 2022. According to company sources, both the N-Line variants have shown promising sales (over 10,000 units combined sold). Hyundai is planning to extend its N-Line portfolio in India and the new model might be the Creta N-Line.
Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai India in a recent media interaction mentioned that the company was happy with the numbers of N-Line units sold in India. They were also expecting to reach sales target of 15000-20000 units in upcoming years. Hyundai will be launching the Creta facelift this year and the N-Line variant of the same will be launched after that. The Creta facelift will offer a design upgrade over the current generation. A new 1.5-litre, 160hp, turbo-petrol engine is expected to replace the 1.4-litre engine.
The Hyundai Creta N Line is expected to offer a new 1.5-litre engine that will be paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The Creta N Line will get sportier suspension setup along with sportier exhaust, different alloy wheel design, all-black interior, N Line badging, faux-brushed aluminum bits and much more. The model will have some similarity with the rest of the N-Line variants of offered in India.
Hyundai is likely to introduce more than two facelift SUVs in India this year. The Creta facelift will be the first SUV to be launched this year. The other two models to be launched this year include Alcazar facelift and Tucson facelift. For those who are unknown, the Tucson facelift was revealed internationally in 2023.
