Hyundai Creta, Alcazar Adventure edition teased for the first time in India

Hyundai has teased the Adventure edition of Creta and Alcazar SUVs for the Indian market.  The adventure edition of the popular SUVs will be offered in a Khaki colour that made its debut with the Hyundai Exter. As reveled by Autocar India, the Adventure edition SUVs will be launched in India by September 2023.

When it comes to special edition, it will be the first special edition of Alcazar to be introduced in India. On the other hand, this will be the second special edition of Creta after the Knight edition. According to the latest teaser, the special edition gets new Ranger Khaki colour option that is available in the Exter that launched recently. The special edition of the SUV will be offered with dual colour-tone as the roof will be is black. The SUV also gets a blacked out grille. On the other hand, the brake calipers get red colour.

The Adventure edition gets an ‘Adventure’ badge on the front fenders and it extends on the front door. As of now, we are not sure whether the Adventure editions will get badges on the tailgate too. The interior of the SUVs are expected to be offered with contrast stitching for the upholstery. Just like the Knight edition, the Adventure edition is expected to be offered in multiple trims.

In terms of power, there will not be any change in the engines that will be offered in the SUV. Both the special edition SUVs will be offered in petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5-litre diesel engine will churn out 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the Creta gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 115hp power and 144Nm torque. On the other hand, the Alcazar gets a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that is paired with 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

In terms of price, the Adventure editions of the Creta and Alcazar will be more premium than the regular models.
