2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift ‘Cool Yellow Rev’ spotted at Tokyo Auto Salon 2024
It can be observed that the Maruti Suzuki Swift ‘Cool Yellow Rev’ offers some visual upgrades over the regular edition of the Swift.
Maruti Suzuki will be launching the 2024 edition of its popular hatchback ‘Swift’ in India later this year. Ahead of its launch, the hatchback has been spotted at the Tokyo Salon 2024. The Maruti Suzuki Swift ‘Cool Yellow Rev’ edition was also unveiled at the auto show. It can be observed that the Maruti Suzuki Swift ‘Cool Yellow Rev’ offers some visual upgrades over the regular edition of the Swift.
The ‘Cool Yellow Rev’ edition is finished in Cool Yellow Metallic shade and the variant is the standard version of the 2024 Swift. It does not feature any mechanical upgrade over the standard version. The only changes that it gets are cosmetic in nature. The design feature that makes it distinct from the regular model is the presence of decals on the side as well as on the rear. Other changes include black-finished grille as well as alloy wheels and grey-coloured roof.
Cosmetic enhancements on the Cool Yellow Rev variant are limited to the car itself. When it comes to the interior of the car, we get the same dashboard available in the 2024 Swift.
The 2024 Swift is powered by an 82PS 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. In the Japanese market, it will be offered with CVT. However, in India the car will be offered in manual as well as automatic transmission. Comparing with the current generation of the Swift, we can find out that the 2024 Swift generates less power and torque figures.
The Current generation of Swift offers 89PS of power and 113Nm of Torque. When it comes to price, we expect a decent price hike in the Maruti Swift. The Maruti Suzuki Swift currently costs Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
In India, the Maruti Swift competes with the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Tata punch and Renault Triber.
