Video of couple kissing in Delhi Metro goes viral, Internet reacts
A video of a couple lip locking in one of Delhi Metro trains have surfaced online and has started a debate among the Twitter users
India is still not open to Public Displays of Affection (PDA) as many still consider it to be indecent. This is why even a small act of closeness between couples can start a discussion among the people of this country. However, this thought process has yet not stopped youngsters from indulging in showcasing their affection and romance in public. One such incident took place in the Delhi metro recently, and the video of it has gone viral on social media.
In the now-viral clip, a couple can be seen seated on the floor of a metro coach. As the girl lies her head on his lap, the boy is seen kissing her. Meanwhile, the metro seems to be packed with passengers.

So far, the video has garnered more than 73k views and a plethora of comments. People showed mixed reactions towards it. While some were infuriated over the couple’s lip lock, others supported saying it should be normalized.
One person wrote, “It has become a trend now like other Western culture trends that are being followed in our holy country too!” and another person commented, “Funny that this was happening in Blue Line metro.”
A third comment read, “This comes under public obscenity and the person recording people without their consent is also punishable under the law. 3 people are breaking the law here.” Meanwhile, a fourth user wrote, “There is no need to be ashamed of your loved ones. If you’re not ashamed of watching porn then it is way better than that. They are just kissing what is the problem with that? India is the youngest nation because of young people not because of old people. Try to find some happiness.”
