Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specifications
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 offers a 7.6-inch 120HZ AMOLED display which is brighter than the previous model. On the other hand, the outer panel of the smartphone is 6.2 inches and offers a 120hz refresh rate. The device offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and gets 12GB RAM. On the other hand, there are multiple options when it comes to the storage of the device. Users get 256/512/1 TB UFS 4.0 storage.
A triple rear camera setup is offered in the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The camera setup offers a 50MP primary camera, along with 12MP and 10MP cameras. The primary camera is capable to record up to 8K at 30fps.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to offer One UI 5.1.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. When it comes to protection, the device will offer IPX8 water resistance along with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The other improvements on the device include an improved vibration motor, less noticeable crease, improved under-display camera, more durable inner display, a smaller gap when closed, a new hinge, etc.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to be approximately $1799.
Recently, Oppo launched its new foldable device -Find N2 in China. It offers a 7.1-inch 120HZ LTPO primary display with a resolution of 1920 x 1792 pixels. On the other hand, the outer panel of the smartphone is 5.54 inches and offers Full HD+ resolution. The device offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and gets 12GB/16GB RAM. Storage of the device goes up to 512GB.
