Bengaluru becomes ‘Coolest city’ of India, temperature drops below many hill stations
Bengaluru has currently become the coolest city of India after the temperature was recorded 23 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. This beats the current temperature of Shimla and Mussoorie that stands 25 and 24 degree Celcius respectively.
Parts of Northwest India is suffering the heat-wave during the daytime as national capital Delhi is expected to cross 44 degrees Celsius over the weekend. On the other hand, Bangalore enjoys cool breeze after recording the lowest temperature in the country, 11 degrees cooler than usual, due to the remnants of Cyclone Asani.
As a result, the Garden city, which is already famous for its weather, is cooler than most hill stations right now, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The news is gaining a lot of attention on social media, and many Twitter users have started posting screenshots of weather apps on their phone. Many also took the the social media platform to express how badly do they want to move to the Bengaluru.

As per the information provided by IMD’s regional office, Bangalore will witness partly cloudy conditions till May 17 along with light showers.
On May 18 and 19, however, there are possibilities of rain or thunderstorm, the IMD said in its weekly forecast.
Meanwhile, the city is recording the coolest May day with the lowest temperature in any city of India.
