Mayurbhanj: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Behera Sahi under Thakurmunda police limits in Mayurbhanj district.
The deceased has been identified as Chaka Marandi, was found lying dead 500 metres away from her house.
The locals spotted the body and informed the police. On being informed, the police reached the spot and have started the investigation.
The scientific team to investigate how the murder was executed, informs Thakurmunda Police official.
Chaka’s husband Ghasiram Marandi has been detained by the police for further questioning.
