Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Bhubaneswar Centre here has predicted more rain for at least 11 districts of Odisha today.
As per the latest weather bulletin of the IMD districts like Balasore, Jajpur, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kendrapara, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak are likely to experience moderate rainfall between 7.30 am and 10.30 am.
Moderate thunderstorm and lightning will also occur in the alerted districts during the same time, added Weatherman.
As a precautionary measure people in the alerted districts have been told to take shelter in safe places and advised not to venture out their homes till 10.30 am.
