Berhampur: Berhampur SDJM Court on Tuesday allowed the Crime branch to take all the four accused arrested in the alleged gangster Chhota Rajan link case on a three-day remand.
The court sent the accused – T Laxminarayan Sharoff, Pradeep Choudhury, Suresh Kumar Satpathy and Santosh Kumar Sahu – on three-day remand after they were produced in the court earlier today.
The SDJM court rejected their bail plea and sent them on a three-day remand. The Crime Branch had asked for a four-day remand.
The accused were arrested for illegally operating sim boxes and diverting calls coming from Hon Kong, Dubai and other countries.
A five-member team of the Special Task Force (STF) and EOW of Odisha Crime Branch is probing the case along with a two-member team of Mumbai Crime Branch.
