Coimbatore: In a shocking incident a woman was thrown out of a running car by her husband and parents-in-law over a marital discord in Combatore of Tamail Nadu.
The incident came to light after a CCTV footage on the same went viral on the social media platform and got widely shared over the past few days.
The victim woman has been identified as Arati Arun (38), a resident of Mumbai.
As per the report, the husband of the victim and the accused identified as Arun Amalraj, an engineer by profession used to subject her to inhumane physical torture following their marriage which took place in 2008. Later, the victim left her in-laws’ house in 2014 and lodged a domestic violence case against her husband in a family court in Mumbai.
Arati was living in her parents’ house since the dispute when Arun arrived there in May this year and successfully settled the matter to take her back. But the reunion turned out to be costly for the victim later.
In May this year the couple went to a holiday trip to Ooty during which the attack took place. While returning from Coimbatore, a verbal duel erupted between Arati and Arun over the latter’s decision to live with his parents. Subsequently, the accused pushed out the victim from his running car and fled away.
After sustaining critical injury on her shoulder and knees the victim was rushed to a hospital by some bystanders.
While, the accuse husband and in-laws of Arati are absconding since the incident, Police have lodged a case in connection with it and started investigation.
