Jaleswar: A body of an unidentified woman was found floating in the pond in Badamandaruni under Kamarda police limits of Jaleswar on Sunday morning.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Reports say, some passerby noticed something floating in the pond and when they went closeby, the passerby noticed a body of woman in the pond and informed the police about the incident.
On being informed about the incident, the Kamarda police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
