Chhattisgarh: In a tragic road accident in Chhattisgarh, as many as 17 people have died after a pick-up vehicle overturned near the Kawardha area on Monday.
According to latest reports, as many as six people have been injured and shifted to the hospital for treatment said Abhishek Pallav the Kawardha SP.
Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Vijay Sharma said on his official X handle on the accident in Chhattisgarh, “The news of the death of 15 people due to the overturning of a pick-up vehicle full of workers in Kawardha is extremely painful.”
He further added that, “My condolences are with all the families who have lost their loved ones in this accident. Along with this, I wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured.”
“Under the supervision of the state government, the local administration is engaged in providing all possible assistance to the victims and their families,” he further added.
