Bhubaneswar: As part of the process to ensure smooth functioning of the immigration checkpoint at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in the city, Odisha Government today approved 11 new posts of police officials to be deployed at the airport. The immigration checkpoint would soon come up at the airport.
The approval was given by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The newly approved positions across the cadres include one Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), one Inspector, four Sub Inspectors (SIs) and five Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs).
