In a tragic incident, two people were killed and a third injured when a small plane crashed in the mountains south of Salt Lake City in the United States.
In a presser, Utah County Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon said, that two people died on the spot and the third who sustained injuries was walking in the incident area when the rescuers arrived and flew him immediately to the hospital.
The county sheriff further stated, that the aircraft crashed in a rocky area, forested area with some snow around and the exact reason behind the incident is yet to ascertained.
The victim identities have not been released yet.
The crash wasn’t listed yet on a Federal Aviation Administration website of recent U.S. aviation incidents.
