London Records Zero Covid-19 Daily Deaths For First Time In Six Months

London: London has recorded zero daily deaths from Covid-19 in a single day for the first time in over six months, official data indicates.

Public Health England (PHE) figures for 28 March showed no deaths had been registered of patients within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The last daily record of zero deaths in the capital was on September 14 before a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic struck Britain.

There have been 15,413 confirmed Covid deaths in London, out of 126,592 across the country.
