Cairo: Egypt police killed all the 19 terrorists who were linked to the recent attack on a bus carrying a group of Coptic Christians in Cairo. The news was confirmed by Egypt’s Interior Ministry today.
Interior Ministry said that the attackers died in a shoot-out after police pursued “fugitive terrorist elements” into the desert area west of Minya province.
Notably, as many as seven Coptic Christians were killed in an attack on two buses near the Monastery of St Samuel the Confessor in Minya on Friday. The Islamic State (IS) group has said it carried out the attack.
Seven other people, including children, were also wounded in the attack.
