A two-year-old girl, identified as Isla McNabb from Crestwood in Kentucky of USA has become the youngest member ever to join Mensa, the renowned high-IQ society. Guinness World Records has officially recognized Isla’s exceptional cognitive abilities, with her scoring in the 99th percentile for her age group on the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales.

Mensa International, the world’s largest high-IQ society, requires individuals to score at or above the 98th percentile on a standardized IQ test for membership. Isla’s inclusion in Mensa at such a tender age signifies her place among the top 2% of the population in terms of intelligence.

Isla’s parents observed her exceptional focus from an early age. Noticing her bright intellect, they were astounded when, at just seven months old, Isla began identifying specific items from picture books. By her first birthday, she was already mastering colors, numbers, and the alphabet.

On her second birthday, Isla received an erasable writing tablet, setting the stage for a revelation that left her family in awe. When her father, Jason McNabb, wrote words like “red,” “blue,” “yellow,” “cat,” and “dog” on the tablet, Isla effortlessly read them. The discovery extended beyond the tablet, with strategically placed multicolored toy letters around the house spelling out words like “chair” and “sofa.” Isla’s exceptional literacy skills caught the attention of a psychologist specializing in gifted children.

Describing the psychologist’s reaction, Isla’s father, Jason McNabb, shared, “He doesn’t usually test children as young as two but made an exception after hearing about her talents.”
