Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 10C as its latest smartphone under the Redmi 10 series in Nigeria. The handset has been introduced as the successor to the Redmi 9C which was launched last year. It sports a waterdrop notch display on the front and has a textured rear shell. It features a squarish camera module that houses a dual-camera system, but also a fingerprint scanner.

The Redmi 10C price in Nigeria is set at NGN 78,000 (approx $188) for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant and the 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model costs NGN 87,000 (approx $209). It is launched in three colors such as black, blue, and green.

The Redmi 10C is rumoured to arrive in India with the rebranded name of Redmi 10. Many others have also speculated that the same phone may also get rebranded as the POCO C4 in India. The Redmi 10 or POCO C4 are expected to arrive in India by March or April.

Xiaomi Redmi 10C specifications and features

The Redmi 10C comes with a 6.71-inch LCD display. We have any other specification details about the phone’s display as Xiaomi is yet to share detailed information on it. So, it is unclear whether the device supports an HD+ or FHD+ resolution. The device runs Android 11 OS with MIUI 13 on top.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10C is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset with up to 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB of onboard storage that supports expansion for additional storage via a microSD card. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that has 10W charging support.

The Redmi 10C has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and the dual rear camera setup is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel shooter.
