Samsung Galaxy M55 5G with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC expected to launch soon

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy M55 5G smartphone in India. The Galaxy M55 has been spotted on the Geekbench database with a model number of SM-M556B and was initially spotted by mysmartprice. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G was spotted on the Geekbench 4 database and scored 3575 in the single-core test and 11330 in the multicore test. There is also a presence of 8GB RAM on the device while the OS is Android 14. We cannot rely totally on the Geekbench scores as they are expected to change based on their versions.

The scores also show that the device offers Adreno (TM) 644 GPU and Max CPU Clock Speed of 2.40GHz. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC is expected to offer good performance. The device is expected to succeed Galaxy M54 5G that launch earlier this year.

The M54 is powered by a Exynos 1380 chipset and is paired with 8GB RAM and 256 storage. It offers 6.7-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device offers Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box.

On the rear, the smartphone gets a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and offers 4K video shooting at 30 fps. When it comes to selfie camera we get a 32MP camera unit. When it comes to sensors we get a side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. We expect the manufacturer to reveal some more details about the smartphone in the upcoming days.
