Khordha: A video showing two miscreants mercilessly beating up a youth after tying him up to a tree in Kaipadar village of Khordha over suspected past enmity has gone viral on social media.
The victim featured in the video has been identified as Soumya Ranjan Dash of Bangida village.
As per a complaint filed by Soumya at Khordha Sadar Police Station in connection with the case, the accused duo identified as Raja Bhuyan and Gatia Patalsingh of Bhatapada village forcibly took him on their bike to Kaipadar village with the help of some local youths and thrashed with iron rod and sticks. The attack took place over past enmity, he mentioned later.
In the video which was shot on December 18 the attacker duo could be seen crossing all limits of brutality by peeing on the face of the victim after he asked for water post getting injured in the attack.
No arrest had been made by police in the case till the last report came in.
