Karanjia: A body of an unknown found floating in a pond in the forest near Handipuhan village under the Jashipur police station of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.
As per sources, the body of the woman was bound with a stone with the help of a saree. The locals spotted the body and informed the police about the incident immediately.
On being informed, the Jashipur police and fire brigade reached the spot and recovered the rotten body from the pond. The woman is suspected to have been murdered. However, the identity of the woman has not been found yet.
Police seized the body, filed a case and an investigation has been initiated. The police is currently investigating who killed the woman and the reason behind the murder.
