Subarnapur: In a mockery to the healthcare facility in the State, the body of a fire mishap victim remained unattended for long hours outside Binika Community Health Centre (CHC) since last night.
As per the report, the victim identified as Puja Sahu (21) sustained critical burn injuries at her house under mysterious conditions late last night. She was rushed to the CHC by her in-laws by a trolley in absence of an ambulance but died before reaching the destination.
However, much to the bad luck of Sahu’s inlaws, her body remained on the trolley till today morning as no staff of the CHC reached to attend it.
Binika Police reached the spot to seize the body for autopsy later.
While the case of the fire mishap which killed the victim is not known, her parents allege inlaws’ hand in the same.
